Honour Wall

Community recovery journeys happen in all kinds of ways, through the involvement of committed local businesses, organisations and individuals, along with the help of many others from out of area, or even internationally.

We're using this honour wall as a feature to showcase businesses and organisations who've made a difference to so many communities across Australia. Many of them will now be facing a new wave of disruption as COVID-19 pandemic issues start to bite hard into revenue and cashflow, so your support can mean a lot for them. Know someone who's done a great thing for a community? Let us know in our Donation Reporting challenge. Whilst we wait for some community intel to flow in, we're running a random legends roster of some of our favourite gestures seen through the horror of the 2019-2020 fire season.

Random legends

Australia faced unprecedented disasters over summer. As our communities rebuild, Resilient Energy Collective is behind them. Funded by Mike & Annie Cannon-Brookes, with solar systems from @5B_Au and batteries from @Tesla. Here's how □ pic.twitter.com/NXi4JvUQou

Huge Thank You to John Oxley Motors for lending #Blazeaid Wauchope a ute. It's been so useful ferrying people & gear to properties & on errands around town. @JohnOxleyMotors has also provided vehicles to other Blazeaid camps. Such a generous local company

IMPORTANT NON-FIRE RELATED POST.

We have received messages from people who are being made functionally homeless during the start of the pandemic (for many reasons)

If you have an EMPTY property, would you be willing to open it up to some strangers? Please RT and DM. #COVID_19
